Golden Runway, ScreenShop along with others sponsored LA Fashion weekend at the Sunset Gower studios in Hollywood. Friday night was all about the designer, Anthony Franco's Spring/Summer 2012 line. I was invited by my friend who is the head and brains of Golden Runway. It was a blast. Unfortunately I forgot my camera the first night, but here are a few photos that I shot with my Blackberry Torch. I found out that I was going at 6:30PM and the show started at 8PM...so I was a little rushed! Sorry they are not better!

Carnival time! Right here in San Fernando. The best thing about Carnivals is the food. I was really enjoying this Elote. Which is corn on the cob con queso, mayo y nantequilla...yummy. I went to see Prince in concert last night at the Forum in Inglewood. Amazing! He is the King of Rock. Prince is a musical genius. The performance was incredible and had you begging for more. I have been just really happy about these shoes that I got from Wasteland for super cheap! They are actually very comfortable. I took both of these photos as you can see while I was in the car... Not only was I in the car, but I was actually driving! I would say that is serious talent. should put that on my resume "can take photos of self while car is in motion" First picture is of a couple of weeks ago. Went to Venice beach with a friend and we decided to get henna tattoos. I always wanted one of these on my hands, had one before around my belly button when i was considering getting a tattoo of a sun there ... It was fresh and you can see on the picture that I hadn't even washed it off yet because the paste was still flaking. The guy that did it said that it would last for like 2 weeks... It's funny how it feels like I get too much of what I do not want, but the one thing that I do want... I can't get. I can't even touch. I think that is the way it goes. Maybe it just happens that way because what we desire now- is not what we will desire in the long run. So maybe it is just worth the wait. Worth the pain. Worth the urge to do something that you know is impossible- at least impossible for now. No matter what, we will always want more than what we have. And want something different than we got.

Ever wanted two things that are just insanely similar? Well, that is what was happening today. In the store Slow on Melrose. Love these t-shirts and have been wanting to get them forever, but just cannot decide on the light gray or the dark gray. lol, such a stupid problem. I have this bad habit of getting 2 of the same thing and I need to stop that. So, I refuse to buy one until I decide. I am leaning more towards the dark gray one. It makes the design pop more. I looove native prints. Well, anything Native American. Sorry for the blurry pictures. They were taken by phone. I love how the top of the second picture says "limit 3 items" when I had like 10 in there with me. The workers could care less. Thats my kind of place

Ahh, these are a few things that have been on my want list for too long now. First, I think this fringe vest by Gypsy 05 is just perfect. Would look great over anything... maybe even with nothing else on lol. Second, the L*Space fringe swim suit is just sooo hott. I will have to be getting this by the time it is beach time. Third, Kate Hudson always carries the best fringe purses. She is such a hippie and I just love her. The red is amazing... I want. I want. I want!!!!

Today I was wearing my new Doma jacket which I have been dying for forever since I first saw it on the Free People website. It is perfect. I love the vintage look it has....plus it is super soft and comfortable. This is just a really comfortable outfit. The scarf/sarong is something that my mom sent me almost a year ago. I am pretty sure she got it while vacationing. I love the colors.
It is pretty dark today. Was sprinkling earlier. I am going to an interview later and this is what I'm wearing! I wasn't sure at first if this was appropriate, but my mom says it is fine considering what type of job this is. Times HAVE changed. I have been wanting more arm candy, but cannot seem to find the right ones that will "flow" with my other bracelets. I have been checking out the new stuff at Free People. Hmm... lets see if I find anything there later when I check out the store.

Today I was playing around with my camera and using the self-timer which I had never used before. I really like the way the pictures came out. I haven't really been posting as often as before because I was working for insane hours AND I did not really have anyone to take pictures for me (which is a shame because I got a lot of new goodies). So, I am definitely going to start using this self-timer more.
Ok, now to these Jeffrey Campbell Charli-C clogs.... Sooooo freakin; cute. I have always had a thing for clogs and I just adore JC, but I recently bought these shoes from eBay... OMG they killed my feet the first day I wore them. Which is surprising because clogs are always very comfortable. The heels were were comfortable, but the front part where my toes are felt crammed and some of my skin on my poor little toes were scrapped off after walking around the mall for 40 minutes! (Don't worry, my toes are heeling now haha)I was in pain limping back to my car. Ahh, I was very disappointed. They are so cute though. Mom said that I should just by the Dr. Scholls cushions for the from of my feet, but I don't know. A little sad about them :-(
